It’s Sunday night, a night that can cause some stress and anxiety about facing the new work week ahead especially if Friday was not such a great day. I like to take Sunday evening to regroup and strengthen my belief that I can handle anything that Monday has to offer even if I anticipate a crazy week I try not to let my Sunday night blues get to me. I tell myself that I will “win the week”. What does win the week mean? it means that I will focus on my goals, I will stay positive no matter how much negativity I am exposed to, and I will let my tasks be lead by love because what is done with love is done well.
Sunday night win the week activities :
1- Read some highlighted passages of your favorite inspirational books. Some of my favorites include – The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Dare Greatly by Brene Brown or, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
2- Use a great facial or body lotion that smells amazing while watching your favorite tv show or listening to your favorite playlist.
3- Make a cup of cocoa or tea and serve it in your most beautiful mug.
4- Set a fun Friday or Saturday goal to look forward to at the end of your week, a movie, a drink with a friend or a just a nice bubble bath to reward yourself for a successful week.
5- Spend 5 minutes at bed time quietly affirming that your positivity and good intentions are all you need to win the week. Never give up, treat people with kindness so that you can receive kindness in return.
6- In the morning when you wake up, sit in your bed put your feet on the ground and repeat 3 times – “May Love & goodness follow me all day to help me shine light where there is darkness. I am not alone in my struggles. I will be brave and unafraid today”
